You know the moment. The idea is in your head, a drum pattern or a hook, and by the time you’ve clicked it into a piano roll it’s gone. Your voice is the fastest instrument you have. It just never had a direct line into your plugins.
So I built one.
DRUMS
Beatbox it.
Every kick, snare and hat you make becomes a drum hit. Nobody beatboxes the same kick, so teach it yours: eight hits and that sound belongs to you. Teach IGNORE the breath or the chair creak, and it never fires again.
MELODY
Hum it.
Hum, whistle or sing, and every note goes out as a note on and a note off. Hum wherever your voice is comfortable, then shift it up to two octaves either way. Your hum can play a bass line or a lead.
RECORD
Capture it.
Record your mic, or whatever your computer is playing in any app, to a WAV file every plugin can pick up. A plugin can even start the recording from inside your DAW and grab the file the moment you stop.
Nothing to route
Your Phil Speiser plugins find THE_BRIDGE on their own, in any DAW. No MIDI track, no virtual cable, no sidechain. Open the app, open a plugin that listens, and they’re connected.
Calibrated in 15 seconds
Stay quiet, make your loudest sound, make your quietest. THE_BRIDGE sets the gain and the floor from what it measured in your room, and remembers the result for that mic.
Instant or accurate
INSTANT decides 3 ms after a hit starts, for the tightest feel. ACCURATE waits 12 ms and hears more of the sound, so similar sounds get mixed up less often. You pick.
Play any instrument
Turn on MIDI OUT and THE_BRIDGE sends everything through its own THE_BRIDGE MIDI port on macOS and Windows 11. Pick it as the input of any instrument track, in any DAW.

THE_BRIDGE recognises the Phil Speiser plugins you already own through the PHIL SPEISER CONTROL CENTER, and opens the tabs that belong to them. RECORD opens with THE_STRIP 3, whose CREATE PROFILE turns a reference track into a profile. Every tab and the MIDI port open with THE_CIRCLE. Click a locked tab and the app tells you exactly what opens it.
