THE_PATTERN 2 works with any music software hosting VST3, AAX, or AU plugins—like Ableton Live, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Logic, GarageBand, Cubase, and Reaper. Both Windows and macOS (including M1 and higher) are supported.
Yes. Load a kit and its grooves come with it, so you never start from an empty grid. Change what you like, one hit at a time, and hover over anything for a tooltip that explains it.
Only if you want a head start. Everything it writes lands as an ordinary pattern on ordinary pads, so you change what you want and keep what you like. What the drums become is your call.
No. Buy it once and it's yours, on up to 3 computers, with no iLok. It goes online now and then to check the license. Prefer monthly? It's also part of THE_CIRCLE, my membership.
Of course. Drag any sample onto a pad, or drop a whole folder and every sound gets filed next to mine, without a single file moving. The loop rebuild and GENERATE use your sounds too.

Yes. Drag it out as MIDI, as audio, as one stem per drum or as the whole song in one clip. It also sends MIDI out and has 8 stereo outputs, so every drum can get its own channel.
Yes. Your keyboard or pad controller plays the kit and launches patterns, and MIDI learn maps the pads, the effects and the sequencer to your hardware.
A Mac with macOS 10.13 or newer (Apple Silicon or Intel) or a PC with Windows 10 or newer, and a DAW that opens VST3, AU or AAX plugins. It goes online to activate and now and then to check the license. Only BEATBOX needs extra gear: a microphone and THE_BRIDGE, my free companion app.
